The Riches of God's Salvation - Glorification, Transfiguration

  1. A Quick Review
    1. Glorification or transfiguration is not only the final item of God's salvation, it is also the consummate step in God's salvation that prepares the corporate bride of Christ, the church to meet the returning Christ Jesus in His second coming to this earth.
    2. The rich items of God's salvation that we have covered this year are as follows: (1) selection, (2) predestination, (3) redemption, (4) propitiation, (5) the blood of Christ, (6) forgiveness, (7) justification, (8) reconciliation, (9) regeneration, (10) sanctification, (11) renewing, (12) transformation, (13) conformation and finally, (14) glorification or transfiguration.
      1. Glorification or Transfiguration
        1. Romans 8:30 - And those whom He predestinated, these He also called; and those whom He called, these He also justified; and those whom He justified, these He also glorified. Footnote 302
        2. Romans 8:17- And if children, heirs also; on the one hand, heirs of God; on the other, joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him that we may also be glorified with Him Footnote 171
        3. Romans 8:192 - For the anxious watching of the creation eagerly awaits the revelation of the sons of God. Footnote 192
        4. Philippians 3:21 - Who will transfigure the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of His glory, according to His operation by which He is able even to subject all things to Himself. Footnotes 211-4
        5. 2 Thessalonians 1:10 - When He comes to be glorified in His saints and to be marveled at in all those who have believed (because our testimony to you was believed) in that day. Footnote 101

        1. What does it mean to be filled with Christ?
